As a legal immigrant of this great country I applaud Hank for making this record and to those who wrote it A big pat on the back. Frankly, I believe the people who think the word "reneger" is racist are ignorant. Not stupid, just have no idea what the word is or means. It is a very clever use of a word that is not used much anymore. And the pronunciation in the song was very clear, unlike how some people say it who don't know any better ... usually people say "I renigged" on something. They have no idea that they aren't even pronouncing the word properly. Or course, in today's "tolerant" world, anytime you say something against any person of color, you are labeled a racist. It's a very tired argument.

I think this says it all!! What a great song with the perfect meaning. Our country is in so much trouble, and everyone needs to vote. We need God back in our country! RENEGE is the perfect word for what our president has done to America!!
