“Dynamic Father and Son Duo: Rockin’-Fun-Filled-Family Entertainment.” That is a spot on description of this album... good clean kids/family entertainment!A country tinged oldies rock album filled to the brim with original songs led by the father and son duo. What is perhaps the most surprising is the quality of the music. This kids/family album is top notch as far as production and songwriting is concerned, a point too often ignored in this genre. Another notable aspect of this album is its strong Christian family values. While most of the songs are really on the “cute” aspect of family entertainment, there are some songs (such as “Can’t Keep a Good Man Down”, “Big Bang Theory,” and “Did Charley (CHARLES DARWIN) Make a Monkey Out of You?”) that take a strong faith based stand. This may bother those inclined to other beliefs but there is a plethora of other songs to choose from that are more universally appealing. The centerpiece of this album though is young Sam Fischer. I believe this young man is bound for a Broadway show. Sam is a lot of fun on this album, and his trade-off vocals with Mike have a very genuine feel to them, it’s awesome to hear something so positive. Iif you are concerned with finding quality music that you can enjoy WITH your young children then you should check this out because I think you’ll love it!
